There
is an increasing demand in recent years for tertiary education and
other manpower training institutions to provide the necessary personnel
for the state's modern economic sectors.
Education is centrally controlled in Malaysia, but in recent years
there is a trend towards liberalization of education. This has led
to the emergence of more private educational institutions to augment
the publicly funded schools and colleges. |
