INTRODUCTION
Sabah Trade Centre (STC) was established in line with the State Government's policy of promoting a value-added economy through private sector investments. STC's function is to provide a much needed venue for a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, conventions, seminars, meetings, gatherings and other functions. With the state government's efforts to accelerate industrial development and the strategic location of Sabah in the Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines - East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) configuration, the STC is poised to play a vital role in these developments. It is managed by Sabah Trade and Industry Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. (STIC), under the Department of Industrial Development and Research, Ministry of Industrial Development, Sabah.

LOCATION OF STC
STC is strategically located in the outskirt of the city and yet, is very accessible. It is 12 km from Kota Kinabalu International Airport and it takes just 15-minutes by car. It has a centrally located hinterland serving the surrounding area of Tuaran, Telipok, Likas, Inanam, Penampang, Luyang, Putatan and Lok Kawi industrial, commercial and residential areas. Its majestic background is the Mount Kinabalu in the east and the South China Sea in the north. By virtue of Kota Kinabalu being centrally located in South-East Asia, STC is strategically located to serve the Southeast Asia region.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE
STC is approximately 100,000 sq. ft. in area reaching the height of 70 feet and divided into two levels. The first level has 50,000sq. ft. useable space comprising the main exhibition hall, foyer, meeting rooms, office and preparation rooms. The second level has 35,000 sq. ft. useable space consisting of permanent exhibition area, office space and cafeteria. STC is a fully air-conditioned modern building. The utilities available are:
