Strategic Location

Kota Kinabalu is the state capital of Sabah, the eastern most state in Malaysia, which used to be known as the North Borneo. Kota Kinabalu rests on the east coast of the state, facing the South China Sea and backed by the beautiful and mountaneous Crocker Range and the famed Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Southeast Asia.
This strategic location gives Kota Kinabalu the advantage of being at the center of economic powerhouses of Southeast Asia and the far-east, where most of the major cities of the region such as Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila and Taipei, within only 3-hour flight time.
The city is also only a half-hour direct flight from the International Off-shore Financial Center of Labuan. Such setting is ideal for businesses to setup their offices and factories in the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park.
The close proximity and accessibility to a bigger market that is, BIMP-EAGA (with a total population of about 45 millions) and the Asean market with an estimated total population of about 520 millions, positions KKIP as a strategic location ideal for businesses to set up their offices and factories.
