Education & Community Facilities

About 3% of the total site area, 111 ha is used for education and community facilities. Primary and secondary schools are to be provided within each residential village. Their locations are to be determined by catchment radius and preferably sited adjacent to open space or main circulation routes. The total number of primary schools proposed is 24, and eight secondary schools. Tertiary colleges, containing Technical Transfer Institute, Wood Research Institute, and Skills Development Innovation Center, are to be located Southeast the Town Center.
