Tourism & Recreational Park

In order to provide a high quality and attractive environment within the KKIP site for both local residents and tourists, tourism and recreation parks, comprising of 117 ha or 3.2% of the total land area, are proposed. The recreational parks, located at the Northwest of the site, are mainly for tourism activities. An impressive range of facilities, such as an Adventure Park, Water Theme Park, Golf Course and Country Club, will be developed to cater to a variety of leisure needs of local residents and visitors. To complement the tourism industries in the Karambunai area, tourism related outlets like retail shops, restaurants, stalls, amusement and game parlours, and craft workshops will be located in the sub-centre.
