COMPANY PROFILE
HISTORY
Multi Industries (Sabah) Sendirian Berhad (formerly known as Steel
Furniture Centre (S) Sdn Bhd.) was incorporated in December 1979 as a private
limited company with pioneer status for the manufacturing of steel office
furniture amongst other things.
The plant is strategically located on a 1.55 acre site in industrial
Inanam. The plant was equiped with the then advanced conveyer electrostatic
spraying system from Germany.
WORKFORCE AND CAPACITY
The management strongly believes that to maintain its leader position
in this industry, it has to constantly reinvest in moulds, machineries
and manpower. Thus, it has invested in a modern epoxy powder coating system
to produce high quality and durable finishing. This is in addition to the
constant introduction of new moulds and machineries. Training sessions
are also organised regularly to improve employees's skill in this trade.
The company currently employs about 70 production and 10 administrative
staff. The various production sections are all headed by technical specialists,
with each having an average of over 13 years experience in their respective
field.
CLIENTS AND PRESENT MARKETS
We have supplied to many esteemed companies/organisations in Malaysia
like the new Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Maybank, Yoahan, State Libraries,
Ministry of Defense etc. Our oversea clients include the Kingdom of Brunei
and the Middle East.
